About this role
Ascension is seeking a Patient Attendant Float for its Nashville facilities—a full-time position centered on direct patient care and safety. You would provide one-on-one bedside support, remaining with assigned patients to monitor their condition, assist with reorientation during episodes of agitation or confusion, and maintain a safe immediate environment by removing hazards and reporting equipment issues. The role requires careful observation and documentation of patient status throughout your shift.
The position is open to candidates with a high school diploma or one year of relevant work experience. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is preferred, as is Crisis Prevention certification. If you have professional healthcare licensure or certification, that can substitute for the education or experience requirement. You should be prepared to work across multiple Ascension locations in the Nashville area.
