As part of our Venture Development Internship Program, you get structured onboarding and weekly reviews with your manager.
What you will own
You will be embedded directly in Corporate Development and work across multiple areas of Marvel Fusion, depending on where the biggest impact is needed at the time you join. We shape the role together based on your background, your interests and our current priorities.
What you will always be working on in some form:
- Owning at least one core project end to end, visible to leadership
- Driving efficiency and process improvements across the company
- Supporting organizational topics and cross-functional initiatives
- Acting as a Swiss Army knife across departments, wherever the need is greatest
Beyond that, your projects will vary. One intern might build financial models and support investor materials and due diligence. Another might go deep on operations or process optimization. That is the point. You will be where Marvel Fusion needs sharp, fast, hungry people the most.
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a top university
- Genuine interest in fusion energy and the mission of Marvel Fusion
- At least one example where you owned a project end to end
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complexity into clarity
- Hands-on AI user: you use LLMs daily in your work
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset: you don’t wait to be asked
- Do-or-build mentality: you move fast and get things done
- English at C1 level or above
What sets you apart:
- Prior experience in a startup, VC, consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy
- Experience with financial modelling or investor materials
- Experience or demonstrated interest in deep tech or energy
- German language skills

About this role
Marvel Fusion's Venture Development internship puts you directly into Corporate Development at Europe's leading fusion energy company, working on projects that shift based on where the organization needs impact most. You'll own at least one end-to-end initiative visible to leadership while supporting everything from financial modeling and investor materials to operational efficiency and cross-functional strategy—essentially functioning as a generalist problem-solver across the company. The role comes with structured onboarding and weekly manager reviews, so you're set up to learn systematically rather than figure things out alone.
This internship suits someone currently in a top-tier Bachelor's or Master's program who is genuinely motivated by fusion energy and clean tech, not just looking for resume padding. You need strong analytical skills, daily facility with AI tools, and a bias toward action—the kind of person who identifies what needs doing and does it without waiting for permission. Prior exposure to startups, venture capital, consulting, or strategy work would set you apart, as would financial modeling experience or a demonstrated track record of owning complex projects.
Based in Munich and in-office, this is a hands-on role where your impact depends on how proactively you engage with a 120-person team of scientists and entrepreneurs. Fluent English is required; German is a bonus.
