About this role
Totalbond Veterinary Hospital in Lake Wylie is seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join their full-service clinic supporting dogs, cats, and their owners. You'll work rotating Saturdays (8am–2pm) and weekday shifts (7:30am–7pm or 7:30am–5:30pm), providing hands-on patient care alongside veterinarians during exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. The role combines technical skills—lab work, radiographs, injections, IV catheter placement, and medical records—with direct animal handling and client communication, so you'll need both procedural competence and the ability to explain care instructions clearly.
This position requires an active LVT license and solid knowledge of common disease states, safety protocols (DEA and OSHA compliance), and compassionate animal restraint. You'll maintain clinic readiness by keeping treatment areas stocked and clean while staying alert to changes in patient conditions. Totalbond offers full-time benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan, with compensation of $24–$30 per hour based on your experience and skills.
