About this role

TORC Robotics is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product strategy and execution for next-generation on-road autonomous driving technology. You'll define product requirements, operational design domains, and safety specifications while bridging internal teams—engineering, regulatory, marketing, and commercialization—and external customers to align on vision, priorities, and roadmap. This role demands someone who can translate customer needs and market dynamics into clear technical and commercial tradeoffs, establish measurable KPIs to track progress, and surface data-driven risk mitigation recommendations to leadership.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in autonomous driving systems: hands-on knowledge of ADAS technologies (adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, automatic emergency braking), sensing platforms (camera, radar, LiDAR, sensor fusion), safety frameworks (NHTSA, Euro NCAP), and robotic validation systems. You'll need either a Master's degree in a relevant technical field plus three years of industry experience, or a Bachelor's with five years in the space. Beyond technical depth, you'll mentor junior team members and champion best practices across the organization.

Based in Ann Arbor and full-time in-office, this position offers a salary range of $197,226 to $222,900.
