About this role
Scurri is a fast-growing retail tech company looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen its AWS infrastructure while embedding security and automation across the organization. You'll report to the Head of Cyber Security and work directly with engineering teams to design secure cloud architecture, remediate vulnerabilities, and build observability into systems. The role blends traditional infrastructure operations with active software development—you'll write code to patch security issues, manage infrastructure as code, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability.
A significant part of this position involves integrating AI and agentic automation into Scurri's CI/CD pipelines and incident response workflows. You'll evaluate and implement AI tools for automated build-error resolution, predictive deployment failure detection, and accelerated root-cause analysis during incidents. This requires hands-on experience with AI coding agents and the judgment to verify and secure generated code, alongside proven expertise in AWS, infrastructure as code, vulnerability remediation, and monitoring. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevSecOps, SRE, or cloud security (ideally in B2B SaaS), strong software development skills, and relevant certifications or qualifications.
The hybrid role is based in Wexford and includes a competitive benefits package: matched pension contributions, VHI health cover, a cycle-to-work scheme, ongoing training, and a collaborative culture recognized as a Great Place to Work for the second consecutive year. You'll need full legal working rights for Ireland, the EU, and the UK, plus eligibility for US business travel.
