About this role
Standard Life is seeking a Customer Operations Team Manager to lead a team of Pension & Investment Administrators in Dublin on a part-time, hybrid basis. The role combines ongoing team leadership with a significant project component: you'll manage day-to-day operations while playing a central part in preparing the business for the Bulk Purchase Annuity project, working across Customer Services Delivery to ensure readiness in people, processes, training, and customer impact.
You'll need the QFA qualification (required under Central Bank of Ireland rules) and at least two years in pension or investment administration. Leadership experience—particularly guiding teams through change or transformation—is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders. Experience with annuities is highly desirable. Beyond credentials, the role calls for strong communication and problem-solving skills, a customer-focused approach, and genuine capability in people management: setting expectations, recognizing performance, managing underperformance fairly, and supporting staff through operational shifts.
The position offers a base salary of €50,000–€65,000 (pro-rated for part-time), a 10% non-contributory pension with matching up to 2%, funded professional qualifications, and a €2,000 benefits allowance. It suits someone ready to balance hands-on team development with the demands of a major business transformation initiative.
