About this role
ISG's Transportation team is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead projects across state DOTs, municipalities, and private clients from their Bloomington office. You'd work alongside the Transportation Business Unit Leader and other engineers on the full scope of traffic engineering—from data collection and intersection evaluations to traffic signal design, roundabout plans, and construction staging. The role emphasizes both technical depth and client relationships, requiring you to understand client priorities while providing expertise to colleagues on complex transportation challenges.
This position calls for at least five years of professional experience in civil engineering, a bachelor's degree in the field, and a PE license (PTOE certification is preferred). You'd be expected to work in-office to support team collaboration and mentorship. The salary range is $70,000 to $135,000, and ISG offers a solid benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, profit sharing, an employee stock ownership plan, and 401(k) matching.
