About this role

IMI is looking for a Field Services Manager to own project delivery from kickoff through completion, working hybrid from Topeka. You'll be the central coordinator between customers, vendors, installers, and your own field team—managing schedules, safety protocols, and problem-solving across complex installations and maintenance work. The role demands someone who can juggle multiple priorities, communicate clearly across different stakeholder groups, and ensure both quality execution and customer satisfaction.

This position requires at least three to five years of field services experience and strong organizational and critical thinking skills to handle estimation, troubleshooting, and equipment uptime. You'll supervise field personnel, train them to handle on-site challenges, and serve as the escalation point for difficult technical or customer questions. The hybrid arrangement means time in the office managing logistics and documentation alongside periodic on-site or evening work as needed.

The ideal candidate holds at least a high school diploma (associate or bachelor's degree preferred) and is comfortable with Microsoft Office, multitasking under deadline pressure, and building positive relationships across teams. You should be detail-oriented, physically able to work at a desk for extended periods, and committed to maintaining professional integrity in a deadline-driven environment.
