About this role

The Resource Group, Ascension's supply chain partner to healthcare organizations, is hiring interns for a summer 2027 program starting May 17. This Pharmacy Solutions internship is based in Belleville, Michigan and requires in-office work. You'll support projects aimed at optimizing pharmaceutical distribution and reducing non-payroll expenses across healthcare communities.

Your day-to-day work will center on data analysis and reporting using Excel, SQL, and other tools to track performance and inform business decisions. You'll analyze pharmaceutical utilization and financial data to spot trends, develop dashboards and reports, and help evaluate strategies around item selection, distributor stocking, and supply chain compliance. Collaboration is built into the role—you'll work across pharmacy, supply chain, and distributor teams to coordinate implementation activities and communicate with stakeholders.

The position is open to high school graduates or those currently enrolled in a relevant program, though the ideal candidate is a college junior or above studying supply chain, operations, or business. You'll prepare presentations and documentation while contributing to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a structured internship program, so applicants are asked to apply to only one position; additional interests can be discussed during interviews.
