About this role

The Resource Group, Ascension's supply chain division, is hiring interns for summer 2027 to support contract design and sourcing activities across healthcare provider organizations. This in-office role in Dallas places you within a team focused on reducing non-payroll expenses and improving supply chain operations for health systems nationwide.

Your work will span the full contract lifecycle—from gathering business and clinical requirements, to coordinating RFIs and RFPs, to tracking supplier performance and resolving implementation issues. You'll collaborate across sourcing, clinical, and operational teams, assist with stakeholder communications and supplier evaluations, and help prepare reports and documentation that inform contract strategy. The internship emphasizes hands-on support rather than independent project ownership, making it well-suited to someone early in their career who wants exposure to how healthcare supply chain partnerships actually function.

The program seeks college juniors and above studying supply chain, operations, business, or related disciplines. You'll need at least a high school diploma or equivalent, though the preference for junior-level standing suggests they're looking for candidates with some foundational coursework completed. The internship runs from May 17, 2027 onward.
