About this role

Fleet Data Centers is building quality assurance infrastructure for its rapidly expanding mega-scale data center operations, and this temporary manager role sits at the center of that effort. You'd own the design and execution of audit, validation, and corrective action programs that ensure operational standards—around safety, security, and availability—are consistently met across Fleet's sites. This means establishing measurable audit frameworks, leading field assessments, identifying systemic gaps, and partnering with site operations and engineering teams to drive real improvements rather than surface-level fixes.

The role demands someone with at least seven years in mission-critical operations, QA/QC, commissioning, or similar infrastructure environments who understands data center operations and can assess both technical and procedural compliance with sound judgment. You'll need strong documentation discipline, the ability to synthesize findings into actionable KPIs and dashboards, and the cross-functional facilitation skills to move improvements forward across competing priorities. Frequent travel to Fleet sites is expected.

This is an in-office position in Alexandria, Virginia, with a salary range of $120,000–$140,000 plus discretionary bonus, comprehensive health coverage, 401K, and unlimited PTO. It's a temporary role suited to someone looking to make a measurable impact on operational excellence in a high-growth infrastructure company.
