About this role
Continental Services is hiring an Associate Route Merchandiser in Muncie to service vending machines, markets, and OCS accounts across assigned routes. The work centers on restocking products (beverages, snacks, fresh items, and pre-packaged foods), maintaining inventory accuracy using a company tablet, collecting cash from machines, and ensuring equipment cleanliness and proper temperatures. You'll drive a company vehicle throughout your day, handling loading and unloading, and managing the physical demands of the role—regular lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and standing for extended periods.
The position suits someone with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and ideally some background in delivery, route work, merchandising, or customer service. You'll need comfort with technology (GPS, inventory systems, iPads), strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured routines and instructions. Continental values results-oriented people who can balance efficiency with customer service and who take ownership of their routes.
The role is full-time, in-office based in Muncie, with a salary of $23 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) matching; paid time off; and wellness programs. You'll complete an 8–12 week training program and may eventually train new merchandisers depending on regional needs.
