About this role
Medneo UK operates a nationwide mobile cardiac MRI service, and this role offers the chance to deliver specialist imaging directly to patients rather than working in a traditional hospital setting. You'd perform cardiac MRI examinations independently, managing everything from patient assessment and safety screening through to image optimization and clinical documentation. The work combines technical expertise—cardiac protocols, ECG monitoring, contrast administration, artefact recognition—with genuine patient care, as you'd be responsible for reassuring anxious patients and maintaining their dignity throughout exams.
This is a senior position suited to an HCPC-registered radiographer with proven cardiac MRI experience and strong knowledge of Siemens systems. You'd need confidence working autonomously in a mobile environment, sound judgment in identifying contraindications or clinical concerns, and the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, cardiologists, and the wider team. The role also includes mentoring colleagues and contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance.
The salary ranges from £35,000 to £43,500 depending on experience, plus a £5,000 car allowance and paid travel. You'll receive 25+ days holiday, private medical insurance through Bupa, paid professional development, and the flexibility to choose full-time, part-time, or weekend-only arrangements. Medneo has been recognized by the CQC and emphasizes a supportive team culture where radiographers lead the clinical direction.
