About this role

PoloWorks is seeking a Head of Digital Product Management to lead product ownership across Polo Digital, with particular responsibility for the Appian platform. You'll establish product development best practices and cadences while overseeing Appian's evolution as it scales to new lines of business including Declarations and Endorsements. This is a leadership role that combines strategic vision—defining roadmaps and product strategy—with hands-on accountability for the technical specification, backlog prioritisation, and change lifecycle governance of an enterprise platform serving multiple digitised services.

The ideal candidate brings significant experience managing or owning digital platforms in regulated or enterprise environments, ideally with low-code or workflow platforms like Appian. You'll need proven capability in product portfolio management, stakeholder coordination, and data-driven decision-making, alongside strong leadership and mentoring skills. Beyond strategy, you'll partner with delivery and technology teams on client deployments, oversee product customisation, monitor service performance through KPIs, and own all supporting intellectual property—from test environments and workflow solutions to technical documentation and testing standards.

Based in London on a hybrid arrangement, this full-time role offers a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, 26+ days leave, private health insurance, enhanced pension, EV leasing, and other benefits. The role suits someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and is energised by scaling platforms while maintaining quality and consistency across services.
