Location: Barnsley Shifts: Days - 09:00-17:00
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
- Days: £35.20 per hour
- Weekends: £44.06 per hour

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Tracheostomy management, suction & change, Ventilation via Tracheostomy & Care & Use of Nasal-Jejunostomy.

About this role
Thornbury Community Services is seeking an experienced paediatric nurse to provide one-to-one complex care for a young female in her family home in Barnsley. This is daytime work (9am–5pm), paid at £35.20 per hour on weekdays and £44.06 on weekends. The role demands confidence managing advanced clinical needs, including tracheostomy management, ventilation support, and feeding via nasal-jejunostomy. You'll need a minimum of six months' UK complex care experience within the last two years.
Beyond clinical tasks, the work centres on building trust with the family, supporting the child's independence, and enabling her to participate in activities and community experiences despite her health needs. You'll be working in a busy home environment where responsiveness and adaptability matter as much as technical skill.
