  • You are comfortable coding, with the help of AI agents like Claude Code, in multiple languages and eager to learn our tech stack
  • You are in your final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for a 6-month full-time internship
  • Eager to learn and work in a team of builders
  • You are fluent in English

It would be fantastic if you:

About this role

Doctolib is building a cloud-native platform that manages clinical and administrative work across European healthcare systems, and they're looking for a fullstack software engineering intern to contribute real features to this operating system. Over six months, you'd work alongside experienced engineers on the complete lifecycle of features—from design through testing to shipping—that directly affect how care teams and patients interact with the product. You'd be coding in their polyglot stack (Rails, TypeScript, React Native, and others) and expected to write clean, maintainable code while learning their practices around testing and peer review.

The role suits someone in their final year of a CS or Software Engineering degree who's genuinely curious about problem-solving and comfortable learning on the job. You should be fluent in English, collaborative, and willing to explore new tools including AI-assisted coding. Prior experience with web development, side projects, or open-source work would strengthen your application, as would familiarity with AI coding assistants—though the job description suggests these aren't hard requirements if your fundamentals are solid.

Doctolib offers the practical perks of a tech internship in Amsterdam: free meals on-site, up to two remote days weekly, access to premium coding tools, and subsidized transit or bike leasing. They also provide health insurance, mental health support through Moka.care, and tech masterclasses throughout the internship. The interview process involves a coding challenge, recruiter screen, feature-building exercise, and behavioral interview. Start date is March 2027.
