*As of June 30, 2026. Adams Street Partners’ methodology to calculate Assets Under Management (AUM) is based on fund net asset value (NAV), plus unfunded commitments, plus leverage, but excluding the effect of subscription lines of credit. The prior AUM methodology was based on investor commitments minus commitments to fully liquidated underlying partnerships. Such change in methodology was effective July 2026; however, for periods shown prior to December 31, 2025, Adams Street continues to use the previous methodology. This updated methodology more closely aligns with (i) the amount of assets managed on behalf of investors and (ii) the amount of capital available to make direct and/or partnership investments. Amounts stated by investment advisers in regulatory filings (“regulatory AUM”) have a prescribed methodology, which may, in some circumstances, differ from the methodology such adviser uses for other purposes, including marketing efforts. Additional information is available upon request.

About this role
Leading technology strategy at a $76 billion global private markets firm, this Vice President role sits at the intersection of software development and business operations. You would own the full lifecycle of investment accounting and operations applications—from requirements gathering and architectural design through implementation, testing, and optimization—working across JavaScript/Angular front ends and C#/ASP.NET back ends. The position demands hands-on technical execution alongside leadership responsibilities: you'll code, conduct peer reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and report progress to both technology leadership and business stakeholders while identifying ways to strengthen development processes and system performance.
This role is built for someone with deep full-stack expertise in the specific technologies Adams Street uses, combined with genuine experience in financial services—particularly asset or investment management. You'll need five years working across JavaScript, Angular, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and systems integration, plus the ability to translate between technical teams and business users who depend on these systems daily. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Based in Chicago with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week, the role offers a salary range of $165,639 to $210,000 and benefits including immediate 401(k) vesting, profit sharing, comprehensive health coverage, and paid parental leave. Adams Street is 100% employee-owned and has been recognized as a best place to work for eight consecutive years.
