This is full-time work where you control your schedule—choosing your shift times, patient population (pediatric or adult), and which cases to accept. You'll provide direct patient care in homes rather than institutional settings, building sustained relationships with families while having access to 24/7 clinical and respiratory support from your team.
The role suits nurses drawn to meaningful patient relationships over high-volume care environments. If you're new to private duty nursing or need to refresh skills with tracheostomy or ventilator patients, the company provides hands-on training and mentorship. You'll receive weekly pay, bonuses for high-need cases, and health benefits as a full-time employee. The company emphasizes safety by assessing homes before placement and letting you meet patients before committing to cases.
You'll need an active RN or LPN license in North Carolina or a compact state, current CPR certification, and a TB skin test completed within the past year. The pay range is $29–$34 per hour for both LPNs and RNs.
