About this role
Metro Vein Centers is building a multi-clinic vascular ultrasound operation across Connecticut and beyond, and they're looking for an experienced RVT or sonographer to support their Avon-area clinics on a rotating basis. You'd perform lower extremity venous duplex studies and post-treatment scans—typically 8–10 patients daily—moving between different clinic locations throughout the week while maintaining consistent Monday-Friday hours and no weekend or overnight shifts. The role demands strong scanning skills, attention to protocol, and the adaptability to work smoothly with different clinic teams and workflows, all while keeping patient experience at the center of what you do.
This position suits someone with at least one year of vascular ultrasound experience who is comfortable with variety and thrives in fast-paced outpatient settings. Venous insufficiency studies, duplex imaging, and prior experience floating between multiple sites are valuable. You'll document findings in the EMR, communicate preliminary results to physicians, and support the broader clinic team—essentially serving as a critical extension of the physicians' diagnostic capability.
Metro Vein Centers offers full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and quarterly bonuses up to $1,500, alongside a culture that emphasizes collaboration and clinical excellence. The company maintains a 93 NPS score and operates 70+ clinics across nine states, so there's room for growth if you're interested in it.
