About this role
Standish Management's real estate accounting team is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to manage the financial operations of their open-end fund practice. You'll own quarterly NAV calculations, investor reporting, and capital account maintenance while coordinating with fund controllers and senior managers across the platform. The work spans joint venture accounting, REIT structures, fair value reconciliations, and transaction recording—giving you broad exposure to institutional real estate fund administration.
This role calls for at least four years in public accounting or equivalent fund administration experience, ideally with exposure to real estate private equity and open-ended funds. You'll need strong Excel skills, solid grounding in investment accounting concepts, and a CPA (preferred but not required). Beyond technical competency, the position values attention to detail, organizational discipline, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
The role is based in Dallas and requires in-office presence. Standish offers standard institutional benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k, flexible vacation, and a year-end office closure. This is a full-time position suited to someone ready to deepen expertise in real estate fund accounting while contributing to process improvements and audit coordination.
