Position Details:
- Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
- Job Title: Medical Assistant & Histotech (Surgical team, and General Dermatology)
- Location: Portland primary location, travel to Gresham/Vancouver or other clinics within district if needed (mileage reimbursed)
- Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:
- Must have experience as a Mohs Histotechnician in frozen section procedures
- Must be Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health
- Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
- HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
- Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks
