About this role

Twitch's Trust and Safety team is seeking an experienced analyst to investigate policy violations and manage community safety issues across the platform. You'd be reviewing user reports, assessing sensitive content including graphic material, and taking enforcement action on violations ranging from standard policy breaches to serious harms like child safety concerns and violent extremism. The role involves shift work including some weekends and holidays, and requires you to maintain detailed knowledge of Twitch policies while collaborating with Policy, Legal, and Engineering teams on escalations and investigations.

This position suits someone with at least four years in trust and safety, content moderation, investigations, or related fields—someone comfortable making risk-based decisions in ambiguous situations and able to engage with disturbing content professionally. You'll need solid data analysis skills, ideally including SQL and familiarity with AI tools, to identify patterns, streamline workflows, and build the case for operational improvements. The role goes beyond reactive moderation: you'll lead projects to evolve the team's approach, use data to understand emerging risks, and contribute strategic insight to how Twitch manages platform safety at scale.

The Sydney office position comes with standard corporate benefits including health insurance, superannuation, parental leave, and commuter benefits. Prior experience with Twitch or other gaming and streaming platforms is a bonus but not required.
