About this role

Ping Identity is looking for someone to build their sales pipeline by sourcing and qualifying leads in assigned territories. You'd spend your time researching prospects, making cold calls and sending emails, and setting up discovery meetings for the sales team—essentially converting initial rejections into qualified opportunities. Success means hitting monthly and quarterly metrics while maintaining strong relationships with both Sales and Marketing, and you'll need to stay current on the IAM market and Ping's solutions to do it effectively.

This role suits people with prior SaaS sales experience and a track record managing prospects through a CRM. You'll need genuine confidence on the phone, strong communication skills, and the self-direction to hit targets without constant oversight. The position is hybrid based in Missouri and pays $55,000 to $65,000. Ping emphasizes flexible work, professional development support, and a collaborative culture, though this is fundamentally a metrics-driven sales development job where your performance will be measured against pipeline goals.
