About this role
Health Link Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time LVN to deliver direct patient care across San Francisco. You'll implement nursing plans of care in patients' homes, handle assessments and patient education, coordinate with the broader clinical team, and manage documentation using their AI-assisted charting system. The role requires at least one year of nursing experience in a medical setting, an active California LVN license, IV certification, and wound care experience; home health background is preferred but not required.
What sets this position apart is the operational support structure. You'll have a dedicated back-office team of licensed clinicians available to help troubleshoot patient situations, company-provided rideshare credits to cover travel between visits, and an iPad with modern documentation tools designed to minimize charting time. The compensation package reflects California's overtime laws—LVNs here are eligible for overtime pay—with salaries ranging from $93,000 to $115,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses tied to quality metrics rather than patient volume. You'll also receive standard benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and up to 10 days of paid time off annually.
This role suits someone who values both clinical autonomy and team collaboration, wants to avoid the production pressure common in home health, and is looking for a stable full-time position with genuine support infrastructure rather than a contract arrangement.
