About this role

Unlock Health is seeking an Account Director to lead a portfolio of healthcare client partnerships and the teams supporting them. In this role, you'll own client relationships from strategy through execution, translating healthcare leaders' business priorities into integrated marketing plans that span media, creative, digital, content, and analytics. You'll be the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, responsible for account profitability, client satisfaction, and retention while guiding cross-functional teams through complex, multi-workstream engagements.

The position demands both strategic and operational rigor. You'll develop account growth plans, oversee budgeting and revenue forecasting, manage timelines and project dependencies, and identify risks before they become problems. Success requires the ability to balance competing priorities, explain tradeoffs clearly to both clients and internal teams, and mentor the Client Experience staff supporting your accounts. Travel to key client meetings and in-person collaboration is expected as needed.

This role is best suited for someone with at least seven years in account management or client services, ideally with healthcare industry experience. You should have a proven track record managing complex, integrated campaigns; building and retaining client relationships at the senior level; and growing accounts through upsells and cross-sells. Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Workfront is preferred. The position is full-time, hybrid-based in Chicago, and includes competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, paid parental leave, and a generous 401(k) match.
