About this role

AvidXchange is looking for someone to build and maintain the capacity planning models that guide resource decisions across their operations. You'd work with Finance, HR, Operations, and Workforce Management leaders to develop business scenarios, forecast staffing needs, and identify efficiency opportunities for their Indexing, Intake, and Utility Operations. The role involves extracting and analyzing data, defining KPIs, contributing to monthly reviews for senior leadership, and conducting root cause analyses when operational issues arise—essentially serving as a strategic partner who translates operational complexity into actionable planning insights.

This position suits someone with at least five years of capacity planning experience, ideally in transactional or call center environments where you've already built forecasting models and managed cross-functional planning processes. You'll need strong Excel skills and moderate SQL proficiency to work with source data, plus the analytical rigor to identify what actually drives process capacity. A Six Sigma or Lean certification is preferred. The role is based in Charlotte and requires in-office work, so you'd be working directly with the teams you support rather than remotely.
