About this role
Trinidad Benham is seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver to handle product delivery across their Colorado operations using combination dry van or hopper trailers. You'll manage the full scope of over-the-road driving—from pre-trip inspections and safe, compliant operation to load pickups and deliveries coordinated with the shipping department. The role requires meticulous documentation of trips, expenses, and maintenance logs to meet DOT and federal regulations, plus adherence to food safety procedures (SQF) given the company's manufacturing environment.
This position demands at least one year of over-the-road experience, a valid CDL in good standing, and comfort with manual transmission equipment. You'll need to stay flexible for unscheduled changes, occasional overnight trips, and overtime as needed, while maintaining alertness during extended driving periods. The work is physically demanding—frequent standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing, and bending—often in non-climate-controlled settings with dust and noise exposure.
Trinidad Benham, employee-owned and operating for over a century, offers weekly pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and tuition assistance. The company emphasizes stability and growth, making this suitable for a driver looking for long-term employment with a established, industry-leading employer.
