About this role
One Medical is seeking a clinician to work flexible per diem hours across three Austin-area primary care offices. You'd see 8–23 hours per week handling a mix of acute, chronic, and preventive visits for patients of all ages—no panel-building responsibilities. The role blends in-office patient care with occasional telehealth, and you'd have the chance to perform procedures within your scope while collaborating daily with both in-office and virtual teams.
The position requires at least two years of outpatient primary care experience with all-ages populations in the past five years (or one year of primary care plus a fellowship or urgent care background). You'll need current Texas licensure by your start date and national FNP or PA certification. One Medical values clinicians who communicate effectively across diverse patient populations, embrace evidence-based practice, work well in teams, and adapt confidently to uncertainty.
At $73 per hour, casual providers receive malpractice coverage, UpToDate access, a company laptop, and sick time. If you work 24+ hours weekly, you'd become eligible for the full benefits package including health plans, 401(k) match, paid parental leave, disability insurance, CME stipends, and weekly learning rounds. This suits someone seeking schedule flexibility without sacrificing clinical engagement or professional development.
