About this role

Grassroots Analytics is looking for a Digital Strategist to drive fundraising strategy and execution for nonprofit clients across email, text, digital ads, and emerging channels. You'd own the full lifecycle of campaigns for a diverse client roster—from small local organizations to major international nonprofits—developing strategy, writing compelling content, managing quality assurance, and leading client relationships. The role balances independent leadership with cross-team collaboration, requiring you to proactively identify fundraising opportunities, test and measure results, and leverage GA's database of 20 million progressive donors to maximize both dollars raised and donor acquisition.

This position suits someone with at least two years of nonprofit digital fundraising experience, whether from a nonprofit directly or a nonprofit-focused firm. You'll need strong writing across multiple formats, hands-on familiarity with CRMs, SMS platforms, and donation systems, and comfort with data analysis and ROI tracking. Working knowledge of HTML is expected. Beyond the technical skills, the role calls for someone genuinely committed to social justice work, open to feedback, and willing to experiment—GA describes itself as trying something new every day.

Based in Washington, D.C. and requiring in-office presence, the position offers $70,000–$80,000 plus performance bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, 33 days of PTO annually (increasing with tenure), paid parental leave, 401K matching, and profit sharing.
