About this role

Cubit Capital's mechanical drafting role centers on translating hardware concepts into production-ready documentation for the Titan Product. You'd spend your time creating and maintaining 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks, managing files within their PDM system, and ensuring BOMs and design records stay current as the product develops. The work also involves producing electrical schematics, designing prototype fixtures and 3D-printed components, and collaborating across mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to move designs from concept to documented reality.

This is a contract position based in Austin, working in-office. You'll need at least three years of drafting or CAD experience in hardware development, solid SolidWorks skills, and hands-on familiarity with PLM or PDM systems. GD&T and ASME drawing standards knowledge is essential. The role demands comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, and experience with electrical schematic tools, prototyping, or 3D printing for tooling would strengthen your candidacy.
