About this role
Silverado St. Charles is seeking a part-time morning caregiver to join a memory care community recognized by Fortune Magazine as a top-10 workplace in aging services. You'd provide direct, hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and related conditions—helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining while building genuine relationships with residents and their families. The role requires physical capability (walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.) and comfort working in an environment that includes animals and pets.
The ideal candidate brings reliability, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others maintain dignity and quality of life. While prior experience with memory-impaired individuals is preferred, it's not required; what matters most is dependability, clear communication, and a team-oriented mindset. You'll maintain care records, report observations to the nursing team, and need reliable transportation to meet the Saturday-Sunday AM schedule.
Silverado backs this role with competitive pay ($19–$21/hour), paid training, and benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. The company's certification as a Great Place to Work and commitment to internal mobility suggest genuine opportunity for growth within the organization.
