Objective: The Registered Dietitian will serve as Perinatal Nutritional Health Expert in an ongoing fashion.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Nutritional Health Care Provider for Delfina Medical Group in pregnancy and postpartum.
- Provide 1:1 and group therapy visits for pregnant and postpartum patients.
- Create protocols and safety measures around a telemedicine based nutritional health support system for pregnant and postpartum patients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), earned at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed to practice in Colorado is a requirement
- Active registration in Colorado Medicaid system is a plus
- Fluency in English is a requirement, additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
- 2+ years of experience providing patient care in pregnancy related nutrition including management of Gestational Diabetes, Type I and Type II Diabetes
- Previous work providing virtual patient care
- Available for phone and video meetings on an intermittent basis with the Delfina Medical Group

Compensation: $40-50 USD per hour
The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
Time commitment: 2-10 hours per week initial commitment with additional ongoing work on an intermittent basis. Hourly contracted pay rate for 100% virtual work with flexible hours.

About this role
Delfina Medical Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support pregnant and postpartum patients through their pregnancy care platform. You would work remotely as the nutritional health expert, delivering both individual and group nutrition counseling via telemedicine, with particular focus on managing gestational diabetes and other pregnancy-related metabolic conditions. You'll also help develop protocols and safety guidelines for the virtual nutrition support system itself.
This is a contract role requiring 2–10 hours per week initially, with additional intermittent work ongoing, at $40–50 per hour. You must hold an active RD or RDN credential and be licensed to practice in Colorado. At least two years of experience providing pregnancy nutrition care is essential. Spanish fluency is highly preferred, and prior experience delivering virtual patient care is important. Colorado Medicaid registration is a plus but not required.
