About this role
CityVet's Lone Tree location is hiring a groomer to handle a high-volume schedule while building direct relationships with clients and their pets. You'd manage 6 to 12 grooms daily depending on whether you have bathing support, maintain detailed client records with grooming preferences and animal sensitivities, and perform the full range of grooming services—bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, anal gland expression, and haircuts. The role also includes training and developing bathing staff, so leadership capability matters alongside technical skill.
You'll need at least one year of grooming experience or formal training from a recognized program, plus the ability to safely restrain animals and communicate clearly with clients. The position starts as hourly and transitions to commission within the first year. CityVet emphasizes a culture centered on authentic, personal care, and backs that up with benefits including a 401(k) match, health and dental coverage, paid time off with flexible scheduling, free telemedicine, and an employee assistance program for mental health support.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client interaction, and is ready to grow into a leadership position within a vet-led clinic setting.
