About this role

Clēnera's Business Development Analyst role sits at the intersection of project sourcing and deal support for one of the country's top-ranked solar and storage developers. You'd spend your time analyzing financial models and market data to help shape power purchase agreements, identifying promising project sites aligned with the company's acquisition strategy, and responding to competitive bids. The work requires comfort moving between spreadsheets and regulatory research, translating energy market trends and complex rules into actionable insights for internal teams and external partners.

The position calls for someone with a quantitative foundation—a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics—and genuine fluency in Excel, with growing capability in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R. You'll need to understand energy pricing and forecasting, but equally important is your ability to communicate across departments and adapt when priorities shift. This is a hybrid role in Boise supporting a company managing nearly 2 GW in operation or under construction, with a pipeline spanning 23 states.

Clēnera offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage at no employee cost, a retirement match, paid time off, and equity participation through an RSU plan. The company emphasizes collaborative culture and cross-functional work, so you'd be joining a team that values both technical rigor and respectful partnership.
