About this role

Alchemer's accounting team is building an AI-first function, and this Staff Accountant role sits at the center of that transformation. You'd own accounts payable end to end—invoice processing, payment runs, vendor records, and 1099s—while supporting month-end close activities like reconciliations and journal entries. What sets this apart is the expectation that you'll use company-approved AI tools daily to rethink how the work gets done, experiment with new approaches, and help build AI fluency across the team. This isn't a traditional accounting role; it's one where curiosity about process improvement and comfort with technology are as important as technical accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with zero to two years of relevant experience, though recent graduates are welcome. You'll need solid grounding in GAAP and reconciliations, strong Excel skills, and genuine eagerness to master AI tools like Claude. Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite is a plus. Beyond technical competence, Alchemer is looking for someone with strong initiative, analytical problem-solving ability, and the willingness to support ad-hoc requests across the FP&A and accounting teams—including audit and tax work, and integration of acquired companies.

The position is full-time, in-office in Louisville, Colorado, with an hourly rate of $28.84 to $31.25. Benefits include health and disability coverage, a 401(k) with immediate vesting and per-payroll match, unlimited time off, and twelve paid company holidays. You must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring immigration sponsorship.
