About this role

At Ascension, this Application Owner role centers on stewarding a digital health platform that directly serves clinicians and patients across a major Catholic health system. You'll own the product vision and roadmap, balancing strategic alignment with core business goals against the practical demands of healthcare delivery. The work spans release planning, vendor partnerships, security and compliance oversight for patient data, and cost management—requiring you to move fluidly between technical stakeholders, architects, and business leaders while keeping obstacles from derailing feature rollouts.

The role calls for someone with solid grounding in product lifecycle management and software roadmap development, ideally backed by three years of leadership experience. You'll need at least a high school diploma plus three years of relevant work experience, though an associate's or bachelor's degree can reduce that to two years. This is an in-office position in Saint Louis, suited to someone comfortable owning accountability across multiple domains—from security protocols to vendor contracts to stakeholder communication—in a regulated, mission-driven healthcare environment.
