About this role
Utilities One's Telecommunications Division is seeking an experienced director to establish and lead its outside plant construction operations in the Denver market. You'd own the end-to-end construction model—standardizing processes, overseeing field crews and subcontractors, managing quality and schedules, and building the team from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role that spans vendor management, customer relationships, RFP responses, and continuous improvement across construction practices and financial performance.
The ideal candidate brings 7–9 years in telecom infrastructure (fiber, ISP/OSP work) with solid grounding in network design, construction standards, and industry best practices. You'll need proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage budgets and timelines, and communicate effectively across internal departments, contractors, and clients. A valid driver's license, willingness to travel to job sites, and physical capability to lift 50 pounds are required.
The role offers a competitive salary of $120,000–$150,000, standard benefits including health/dental/vision, 401k, and PTO, plus room for career growth within a growing infrastructure services company.
