About this role

FINFROCK's Central Florida manufacturing facility is looking for a mechanic to join their overnight shift team, working on a range of vehicles that require systematic diagnosis and repair. You'd handle everything from reading diagnostic results and inspecting critical components like engines, transmissions, and brake systems to replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance, and test-driving vehicles to confirm repairs. The role requires you to work from detailed technical manuals and communicate progress clearly to internal customers, so strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail matter as much as hands-on mechanical ability.

This is a full-time overnight position, though the posting notes that shifts may extend beyond standard hours to meet production demands. You'll need proven mechanic experience, solid knowledge of diesel engine systems, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work comfortably in various weather conditions is essential, as is basic competency with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook and Teams.

FINFROCK emphasizes growth and learning for mechanics at all skill levels, backed by a solid benefits package that includes a 401K with up to 15% employer match, fully employer-paid health insurance for employees, disability coverage, and generous paid time off. If you're looking for stable work with room to develop your skills in a manufacturing environment, this role offers that foundation.
