About this role

Truckstop is looking for a Software Engineer III to own significant technical contributions across their freight SaaS platform, working in-office in Boise. This role demands someone with at least six years of software engineering experience and deep expertise in both front-end technologies (Angular, StencilJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) and back-end systems (C#, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, SQL). You'll be expected to operate with substantial autonomy—designing features, making architectural decisions, and taking full responsibility for code from development through production.

Beyond individual technical excellence, this position emphasizes leadership and influence. You'll mentor less experienced engineers, set technical direction for your squad, drive cross-team problem-solving, and actively shape team dynamics and communication. This is a full-time, in-person role suited for a senior engineer who combines strong hands-on skills in modern web and cloud technologies with the judgment and communication ability to elevate those around them and influence technical strategy.
