About this role

Roark Capital's finance team is expanding, and this role offers direct exposure to how a $42 billion private equity firm operates across its portfolio of franchise and franchise-like businesses. As a Finance Associate reporting to the Finance Manager and CFO, you would manage capital and carried interest reporting for employee investment vehicles, prepare capital calls and distributions, maintain investor databases, and support the firm's financial planning and analysis. The work spans both investor-facing deliverables—like capital account statements and timely responses to investor queries—and internal operations, including compensation processes and management company budgeting and forecasting.

This is a position for someone with accounting fundamentals and ideally some exposure to public accounting or partnership structures. You'll need strong attention to detail, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and comfort working independently within a small, collaborative team. The role demands someone who can juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy on complex financial records and calculations. Experience with systems like Investran, DX, or Kyriba is a plus but not required.

The position is based in Atlanta and requires in-office work. Roark offers competitive base salary plus performance bonus, standard benefits including health insurance and 401k matching, paid time off, and daily meals and snacks in the office.
