What you’ll do

  • Lead multi-quarter account strategies and joint business plans for complex Financial Services partnerships.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across agency and direct client stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic pitches, renewals, expansions, quality pipeline development, and product adoption.
  • Develop full-funnel media strategies spanning brand, consideration, conversion, and measurement solutions.
  • Engage in robust media, creative, and measurement discussions
  • Translate performance and measurement learnings into clear recommendations, test-and-learn agendas, and investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with the CAM to create clear account coverage, operating rhythms, and accountability.
  • Mobilize cross-functional teams to solve client, measurement, product, technical, creative, and commercial challenges.
  • Lead executive-ready conversations, negotiations, escalations, and business reviews.

What we’re looking for

  • Meaningful experience in at least two of the following areas: Financial Services expertise, platform sales, and enterprise sales; experience across all three is highly valued.
  • A track record of creating revenue growth, quality pipeline, and measurable change within complex accounts.
  • Strong experience managing both agency and direct client relationships.
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders from junior practitioners through C-suite leaders.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel digital advertising, media strategy, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to move quickly, operate with ambiguity, and make sound decisions with incomplete or conflicting information.
  • Excellent strategic storytelling, commercial judgment, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented approach and the ability to use AI to accelerate preparation, analysis, and follow-through while maintaining accuracy and ownership of outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience.

About this role

Pinterest's Lead Client Partner role in Toronto centers on stewarding the company's largest and most demanding Financial Services accounts—primarily in banking and insurance—while driving measurable revenue and product adoption. You'll operate as a strategic advisor embedded within complex client organizations, translating Pinterest's full-funnel advertising capabilities into concrete business outcomes. The work demands equal fluency in both agency and direct client relationships, from frontline practitioners to C-suite executives, with particular emphasis on building trust and influence across multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

Success in this position requires a combination of deep expertise and operational agility. You should bring meaningful background in at least two of these areas: Financial Services, platform sales, or enterprise sales (ideally all three). Beyond domain knowledge, you'll need a proven track record of growing revenue and pipeline within complex accounts, strong command of digital advertising strategy and measurement, and the ability to make sound decisions quickly despite incomplete information. The role is inherently cross-functional—you'll mobilize internal teams to solve client challenges while leading executive negotiations and business reviews, all while partnering closely with a Client Account Manager on account strategy and coverage.

The position requires in-office presence two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in Toronto, so you'll need to be commutable to that location. This is a full-time role with no relocation assistance available.
