About this role

At UL Solutions' Arnhem office, you'd manage certification projects for electrical and electronic products from start to finish, working at the intersection of technical expertise and customer relationships. The role involves defining project scope and budgets, reviewing designs against standards like IEC/EN 61010 and IEC/EN 61800, designing test programmes, and coordinating execution across laboratories and customer sites. You'd spend time planning and witnessing tests—thermal, environmental, safety—communicating findings back to customers, and helping them resolve compliance issues. Occasional travel across Europe to customer facilities and test sites is part of the work.

The position suits someone with an electrical engineering or electronics background who understands industrial control systems, drives, or automation equipment. You'll need solid project management skills to juggle multiple certifications simultaneously, strong English communication, and the ability to translate technical standards into practical testing strategies. While two years' experience in testing, certification, or product development is preferred, UL Solutions actively welcomes recent graduates and commits to full training and mentoring. Dutch language skills are a bonus but not required.

This is a hybrid role offering the chance to develop specialist expertise in product safety and compliance while building direct customer relationships in a global organization. If you're drawn to technical problem-solving and want to grow in the certification and standards space, it's worth considering.
