About this role
Morgan & Morgan's Product Liability and Fire group is building out its pre-suit team in Orlando, and this role sits at a critical juncture between intake and litigation. You'd be responsible for evaluating fire and product liability claims from the ground up—assessing injury severity, causation viability, liability exposure, and jurisdictional fit to decide whether cases should be retained, referred, or declined. The work involves directing investigations, analyzing causation issues, identifying evidentiary gaps, and serving as the primary attorney contact for clients during the pre-suit phase. You'll then hand off fully developed cases to litigation counsel with clear documentation of strengths, vulnerabilities, and strategy.
The position calls for a J.D. and bar license in good standing, plus at least one year of legal experience with plaintiff-side litigation preferred. While product liability and causation analysis experience is a plus, the firm is open to candidates without it. You'll need sound judgment to manage a high-volume docket, strong communication skills to work across attorneys, investigators, and case staff, and the discipline to maintain accurate documentation and data integrity in firm systems.
This is an in-office, full-time role in Orlando. Morgan & Morgan offers medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays for full-time employees.
