Description
Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join the Figma Brand Studio and focus on designing for the web. This role will help up-level some of our most important surfaces—our marketing websites—in brand-forward, novel, and unexpected ways.
This role sits at the intersection of web design, software storytelling, and brand. You’ll need expert visual and UX instincts, a deep curiosity about our products, and a point of view on how to make product stories land on the web—showing what Figma can do, not just telling. You’re someone who loves to tinker and experiment. You have a deep understanding of accessibility, and you’re comfortable taking ideas from early sketch to working prototype, partnering with web engineers to bring new patterns and interactions to life. Working closely across Brand and Marketing, you’ll shape everything from site structure and navigation to launch, campaign, and event experiences. You’ll also help evolve the web design system that helps the team ship quality work at speed. You’ll play a central role in defining how Figma shows up on the web through experiences that are inventive, accessible, and beautifully crafted.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Own and drive best-in-class UX and visual design across Figma’s marketing websites, from concept through prototype and production
- Tell Figma’s software story on the web in compelling, inventive ways, working with Product Marketing and Content Strategy to show (not just tell) what our products can do
- Prototype and develop new web patterns and interactions that move past standard SaaS conventions, and partner with web engineers to make them real
- Design brand-forward web experiences for launches, campaigns, and events that feel novel and unexpected, while staying accessible and performant
- Shape site structure, information architecture, and navigation to better bring our content strategy to life and serve customers’ needs
- Evolve and contribute to our web design system, including templates and components that help the team ship quality work at speed
- Share learnings, experiments, and techniques with Brand Studio and partners to raise the bar across the org
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years designing websites, with a portfolio that shows creative range, strong visual, interaction, and typographic craft, and a clear point of view on telling software stories on the web
- Fluent in designing, prototyping, and building with Figma, and curious about new design, build, and AI tools, with clear opinions on how and when to use them
- Strong systems thinking, grounded in information architecture, UX and accessibility best practices, and experience contributing to and evolving design systems and templates
- Experience using research and data to run experiments and drive decisions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive concepts from start to finish on your own, partnering closely with design, copy, strategy, engineering, product marketing, and growth along the way

About this role
Figma's Brand Studio is seeking a web designer to elevate how the company presents itself online. You'd own the visual and UX design of Figma's marketing websites, working across concept, prototype, and production to tell compelling product stories through inventive, accessible experiences. This means moving beyond standard SaaS design—prototyping novel interactions and patterns with engineers, designing brand-forward campaigns and events, shaping information architecture, and contributing to the web design system that helps the team ship quality work at speed.
The role demands at least five years of website design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual, interaction, and typographic craft. You should be fluent in Figma itself, comfortable with design systems and accessibility best practices, and able to drive concepts from ambiguous briefs to completion while collaborating across product marketing, strategy, engineering, and growth. The position values curiosity about new tools and a point of view on how to show—not just tell—what design software can do.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in San Francisco or New York, though remote work within the US is an option. Figma explicitly welcomes applicants whose experience doesn't perfectly match the description if you're smart and curious about developing your skills.
