About this role
LA28 is seeking a Manager, Schedule to own the integrated scheduling operation for assigned Olympic and Paralympic venues leading up to 2028. You'll consolidate construction schedules from multiple contractors, functional areas, and suppliers into a single authoritative view, then integrate those venue schedules into the broader program timeline. The role demands constant vigilance for conflicts and dependencies—surfacing issues early and facilitating resolution across diverse stakeholders so leadership has clear, timely visibility into progress and risk.
This position requires at least five years of hands-on project scheduling experience, ideally on infrastructure or sports and events delivery. You'll need expert proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, deep knowledge of critical path analysis and scheduling techniques, and strong facilitation skills to navigate competing priorities among contractors and internal teams. The work is based in downtown Los Angeles and includes site visits to active construction; hours will expand during peak delivery periods and potentially extend into evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The role offers genuine ownership of schedules that determine when venues open, direct exposure across construction and Games operations, and a seat on a program team that values accuracy and early warning. Compensation ranges from $88,000 to $115,000 annually. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance, so you must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles.
