About this role

Midi Health is building a virtual women's health clinic led by Nurse Practitioners, and they're looking for physicians to serve as collaborating physicians under state collaboration agreements. This is a remote, asynchronous 1099 contract role with no direct patient care, no call responsibilities, and no daily operational oversight—you're fulfilling the legal and administrative requirements that allow their NPs to practice at the top of their license in South Carolina or Mississippi. The commitment is straightforward: maintain an active, unrestricted license in your state, enter into collaboration agreements as required by law, and keep your documentation current. In Mississippi, the role includes reviewing 20 charts monthly and leading quarterly virtual meetings; in South Carolina, there are no additional clinical or meeting requirements.

The compensation is $300 per FTE per month in South Carolina and $100 per FTE per month in Mississippi, paid monthly, with paid training included. This role suits physicians who want to support access to care for midlife women without the demands of direct clinical work, and it's designed to fit alongside other professional commitments. You'll need an active, unrestricted MD or DO license and a practice location in the state where you collaborate, plus a willingness to cover at least 50% of available collaborating physician slots. This is ideal for licensed physicians seeking mission-driven work in women's health without the operational complexity or time commitment of traditional practice.
