Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and process air shipments for import
- Coordinate with airlines and other vendors, including trucking companies to ensure smooth operation
- Generate invoices and them to customer
- Manage monthly A/P invoices from the vendors to coordinate payments with the accounting team by due date
- Coordinate and arrange air import services for domestic and international goods
- Communicate with various contacts (customers, vendors, partners, and more) in processing shipments
- Expedite clearance and delivery to meet clients' requirements
- Maintain and compile operational information including but not limited to customer/vendor profiles, quotes, and other related data
- Provide daily activity reports to management.
- Other ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work under fast paced environment and pressure
- Attention to detail
- Strong service oriented mindset
- Ability to Multi-task
- Spanish-English Bilingual preferred
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, air cargo, or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree in related field

FNS, Inc. is seeking an Air Freight Specialist I to manage the operational side of air import logistics from their Miami office. In this role, you'll coordinate shipments from initial planning through delivery, working directly with airlines, trucking companies, customers, and vendors to move both domestic and international cargo. Your day-to-day work involves processing paperwork, generating invoices, expediting clearance, maintaining shipment records, and reporting activity to management—essentially serving as a central point of contact ensuring each shipment moves smoothly through the air freight pipeline.
The position demands strong organizational skills and comfort working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with particular emphasis on attention to detail and multitasking. You'll need solid proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), a service-oriented approach to problem-solving, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. While 1–3 years of logistics or freight forwarding experience and a related bachelor's degree are preferred, the role is open to candidates with strong fundamentals and the right mindset.
