About this role

Esri's Professional Services division is seeking a Product Engineer II to help shape the ArcGIS Aviation product—a role that bridges customer needs with software development. You'll spend your time researching how aviation and airport professionals actually use the platform, translating those workflows into clear requirements, and working alongside developers to build features that matter. Your responsibilities span product design, rigorous testing (automated, functional, regression, and performance), documentation, and direct engagement with clients to demonstrate capabilities and provide technical guidance.

This position suits someone with at least two years of experience in software product support or quality assurance, ideally with exposure to commercial software development and testing frameworks. A degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related STEM field is required. If you've worked with ArcGIS tools, monitored complex enterprise systems, or have domain knowledge in aeronautical charting or airport operations, you'll have a meaningful advantage—though the role welcomes candidates without that specific background. You'll be based in Louisville, Kentucky, working in-office within an agile development environment where you'll balance competing priorities and deliver results collaboratively.
