About this role
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Vendor Management Analyst to handle the operational backbone of subcontractor and procurement workflows supporting federal government clients. The role centers on three core areas: managing resource assignments and time entry systems for subcontractors, overseeing purchase order lifecycle from requisition through monitoring and updates, and processing vendor invoices through accounts payable. You'll coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to keep onboarding smooth, resolve access issues, track funding levels, and ensure timely payments.
Success in this position requires strong organizational skills and comfort with administrative detail work. You'll need solid Excel proficiency—VLookup, pivot tables, and formulas—along with clear written and verbal communication to manage stakeholder expectations and follow up on outstanding items. The ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities is essential, as the specific responsibilities can shift depending on which federal program you're supporting.
This is an in-office role in San Antonio with a salary range of $53,300 to $94,600. It suits someone who finds satisfaction in process management and cross-functional coordination rather than strategic decision-making, and who wants to contribute directly to federal missions through solid operational support.
