- Submit complete, accurate measure packets promptly, consistently reducing the time from measure packet out to measure packet in.
- Deliver a professional, courteous in home experience at every appointment that reflects Bee Window's white glove standard and earns strong customer satisfaction scores.
- Partner with Bee Window and Mosaic leadership to build a measure technician handbook that standardizes process, tools, and quality expectations across the measure function.
- Onboard, train, and manage future measure techs as the team grows, holding them to the same standard of accuracy and customer experience.
- Test new measuring tools and technology to make second measure appointments faster and more accurate, and share clear feedback with both Bee Window and Mosaic leadership.
- Track and report on the key performance metrics for the role, including time from measure packet out to measure packet in, measure accuracy, and measure customer satisfaction.
Role Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in residential window and door measuring, installation, or home improvement, with replacement window experience strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of window and door styles, rough openings, and field measuring techniques, paired with a high level of attention to detail.

About this role
Bee Window is looking for a Measure Technician to own a critical function in their residential window and door installation business: verifying every sold project before materials are ordered and installation begins. You'll schedule and complete in-home measures across Northern and Central Indiana, capturing precise dimensions, confirming product specifications, and identifying any gaps between what was sold and what the homeowner expects. Because measuring errors directly impact margins, install schedules, and customer satisfaction, this role is central to protecting the referral pipeline that drives the company's growth.
You'll need at least three years of hands-on experience in residential window and door measuring, installation, or home improvement work, with a strong grasp of window styles, rough openings, and field measuring techniques. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, sharp problem-solving skills to spot issues before they reach the install crew, and excellent communication to work across sales, back office, and field operations teams. You'll report directly to the VP of Operations and be expected to work independently in the field while managing a full daily schedule of appointments using tablets and digital measuring tools.
As the measure function grows, you'll help build processes and standards for the team, train future technicians, and evaluate new measuring technology. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Fishers with a company car, comprehensive PTO, and medical, vision, and dental coverage. The work requires physical capability—climbing ladders, measuring at height, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions.
